Justice Marie Baker has been appointed the first chair of An Coimisiún Toghcháin by President Higgins.  Ms Justice Baker was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court in 2019. The four ordinary members of An Coimisiún Toghcháin who were approved by Cabinet and agreed by both Houses of the Oireachtas are John Curran, Maura Quinn, Alex Attwood and Caroline Fennell. The President will designate the individuals as ordinary members of An Coimisiún Toghcháin.
